Summer Dev Goals & Minor Updates

Hello!

Hope that you're all well. Tonight's update included some minor revisions along with a few fun additions (like sunglasses, six+ new doggos, and Journal items), you can check the changelog on the main menu for a complete list. It also added code that will be utilized in Episode 1 which brings me to my next point: I wanted to update you a little on my goals for the summer. Right now, I've penciled in July 13th for the first Episode 1 update but I'll keep you updated. We'll see what happens since I'm a full-time librarian with summer reading club starting next week and *gestures wildly* everything else going on.

When the first update comes out it won't be all of Episode 1, but I want to express just how long each episode will be. Each scene in an episode will be roughly 30 mins+ of playtime per run without counting all the variation and branching paths. Episode 1 has 8 planned scenes at this point (I think, if I'm remembering my count correctly?). So, when I say that I'm hoping to get as much work on scene 1 completed as I can but I don't expect it to be fully completed, that's still a hell of a lot.

Anyways, hope that you're all taking care of yourselves as best you can. See you soon,

Albie :)

It is always nice to get a little insight in what to expect, thanks! I hope your reading club is a hit, and that *gestures wildly* everything else pans out ;)

can't wait for more stuff! I first played this shortly after the prologue was first released and for unrelated reasons kind of stopped using itch.io for a long time but I can't wait to enjoy this again when I have free time in the summer ❤️ I still think about this IF every once in a while I'm such a fan
