Hello I love this game and have been a fan for years. I was just replaying to see what's new from the last update and I think I found a typo in the questions part, on one of the follow-up questions about the demon's vessel. "I have an ally who's vessels—for some reason [...]" who's -> whose
oh also I was playing from an old save at one point and once the contacts/journal unlocked, the demon's appearance had errors on the facial scars that each said "Error: <<print>>: bad evaluation: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'scars')". I don't know if this is a problem with the save or just a bug so I'm restarting fresh rn to see if it still happens with a new one
Thanks for letting me know! I just found the facial scar error and corrected it in the file I'm working on (and will have to remember to correct the typo later). It should be fixed when the next update comes out :)
Oh my goodness! I can't believe how fun this was! The music, the way you handled the scenarios and shifting its intractability to fit with the mood, absolutely wonderful!
I am delighted at how much we could design Z and how amusing it is with everyone's reaction to their clothing! I would have been more worried if I were Tommy's mom haha. God I need more. I need to know more augh. So good!

replaying the game, i did NOT expect to be called out for naming myself Name lol. it caught me so off guard because literally nothing else i have played acknowledged how absurd my name is T-T but i absolutely adore this game and can't wait to see what's next
This may be short atm, but it's very much sweet. It's coded and written really well.
I liked the option Tommy has to reject the contract; I was honestly expecting the IF to force Tommy to do it. But that decision leading down a whole new path and the end screen with Zorlock crossed out just tickled something in me.
Also, the POV of Z is so well written, it's fun seeing through the eyes of a demon that doesn't know virtually anything about the modern world.
My gosh you done it again with how detailed the entire IF is. The investigation scene within the basement was absolutely amazing (esp the notable scene where Z seemed to have a severe reaction to the pictures) and I just love the way you continuously allow different personalities for Z to come through. I have no emotional heart to play as the vindictive and rude demon but I'm glad there are still moments where classic demonic personality traits shine through!
I'm sooo looking forward to next month for new updates on the IF! Goodluck with the development and a great way to start the new year hehe~!
Don't know how many times I've replayed this over time, but I definitely love each update. And every single time, I'm seriously impressed by the customisation options (which is insanely detailed and that's saying something considering how many IF's I've played over the years), and still really love the whole concept of Zorlok ❤️
I'm even more excited to see it's progressed a bit more since previous versions.
Also....oh gosh Mother, who tf lets a complete stranger - who's a adult - stay in the house just cuz your kid gives some bull answer 😭 Miss better be real glad I'm a nice demon lol

oh my GOD this was probably the best demo ive ever seen of anything in my entire life and im literally so hype for the rest to come out.
MY OBSERVATIONS AND THOUGHTS !! it honestly took me a few hours to even get to chapter one, i was talking with my friends for most of it and even then there were so many cool options and dialogue that tommy and his peers could share, i was like enamored with all of it. this was seriously so cool, the conversation between everybody just came so natural and its like theyre really people and theyre there yknow? OH MY GOD AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE MUSIC THAT SHIT ACTUALLY FUCKS !!!!! at the beginning screen i was like "oh cool theres background music" and then when the game finally started and that cool title screen music came on i just felt something awaken in me, and i deaduzz felt this every time i heard that "zorlok" title music its actually so cool. kudos to whoever made that, it was so awesome... the actual background music was also very nice, not overwhelming, honestly really nice to have while i was chatting away with my friends most interactive games like this will let you choose what your mc looks like n allat but duuduue dued dued dude dude this one was just different. DONT ASK ME HOW, IT WAS JUST DIFFERENT it was so soo cool and awesome and really better then anything else ive seen idk how to describe it you just did such a cool awesome job bro maybe my memory is serving me wrong but so far i havent seen any intro to an IF game like this start the way this has. usually we start as, well.. us, and we get to choose what we look like n allat but i liked the idea of us starting as tommy and learning this this and that about him and just UFH this is so cool bro your absolutely wonderful. i feel like im glazing but dude finishing this at 6am was such an experience and i must express it to YOU, dear developer i promise this is the last thing. the game takes place in washington but im pretty sure your british, or atleast not from america. im not from washington either but idk anybody in the US who calls their pants "trousers" or says "bloody hell". this isnt criticism, i just thought it was kinda silly how i noticed all those little things and u probably didnt even realize u wrote it in

Aw, thank you so much <3 (and there's never a need to apologize for writing a bunch, it always makes my day). The music is by an artist called Darren Curtis and then all the background sounds are from freesound.org. I highly recommend checking out Curtis's work, it's very good.
Also, the archaic language is an intentional choice that hopefully does make Zorlok sound outdated and out of place. They haven't been on Earth for several centuries so they use English words and phrases that would've been popular/existed during the time they were last hearing them—even if they can't remember what they were doing then. (I end up using the Oxford English Dictionary a lot lol to check and make sure that I'm not using things that were beyond their time)

Mannn that was fun as hell! I really do sympathize with Zorlok because imagine waking up with no memory of yourself and seeing bits and pieces of who you used to be. I had a lot of options to be rude to Tommy, which is fair, but then I remembered this is a kid who's like 15 years old, of course he didn't think that far and this is also his first time experiencing magic. Naturally he'd be mistaken or didn't understand the severity. So I'm glad there were at least some where we could be civil with Tommy.
Also, he's such a nice kid who's genuinely trying to help and correct his very severe mistakes. I'm not sure if it was because of my choices but I really did enjoy communicating with Tommy, I sure hope we can communicate with our Hellhound soon because man I want to re-experience that bond again.
Aaa I'm so looking forward to whatever the hell is going to happen next! Looking forward to all of them and once again, amazing job!!
omg yes i was thinking this same way. i mostly gave tommy the silent treatment since i was pretty sorry for both of them. imagine summonning this cool ass demon that wants to be your friend and then suddenly you make them forget everything they know about themself, and then imagine being said demon. disappointment all around i fear
Ok but first off the game is great, I loved it, I love the interactions between tommy and our demon (or well maybe the ones I choose) and the amount of customization you can do to it, but I have a question...were you prepared for somebody to name the demon Ares? Honestly if I was you I would also expect it who wouldn't name a demon Ares is like the best name out there for one (In retrospect I think I made the most stereotypical demon-looking guy but give me faith)
When I tell you that there are hundreds if not thousands of names I've programmed to trigger unique responses... but yes, Ares is one of them in the general religious category lol
This game is really really awesome so far! I'm impressed at the sheer amount of effort put into just the first part of the IF. The coding, the customization options, the aesthetics, awesome!! I'm at the Miss Stella shop part. Though I noticed when I tried to save it gave me an error, though I figured that wasn't too bad. Until I tried to save to disk and realized that was also giving me an error! The autosave kind of lags behind, and I like my freedom with my save points, so hopefully this can be fixed soon! Unless the error's on my end I suppose?
Here's the error. It appears to be the same one for both the save button and the save to disk button.

Also, what do you mean by the autosave lags behind? Like is the game lagging when trying to autosave or is it autosaving to a place that isn't where it should be? Also what browser do you use?
Sorry for late reply! And yes, it does not create a save nor will it save to disk and just gives me that error. And by autosave lagging I mean it's usually a page or two behind the one I'm on. I assume the autosave just saves every time a certain amount of time passes, not every time a choice is made or the IF continues to the next page. This isn't actually a problem, as I assume this is how the autosave is intended to work, I just mentioned it so you'd know why I wasn't just using the autosave, as I prefer manual saves is all.
Hello. Sorry for the super late response, I spoke with some other developers and as far as we can guess it's probably an issue with the browser/app you were using. If you were using the desktop app, that uses something called Electron which doesn't run JavaScript. Switching to the autoname saves function might help but if not, I would recommend trying a different browser/not using the app. If the problem still persists, please let me know.

I like Tommy but I literally want to strangle him after he made me into Zorlok because right now my character is like a hissy, sopping wet cat in the rain. Great writing!
